About This Site This web site was originally created by Matthew Michaels in 2004, when he was 11 years old. It was built in Microsoft FrontPage during an early fascination with sharks, the web, and technology in general. What started as a kid's shark report turned into one of those first real experiences of publishing something to the internet. The pages, layout, theme graphics, old counter code, and general FrontPage feel have been intentionally kept as close to the original as possible. This site is not meant to be modernized so much as preserved. It now lives on as a small memorial to the beginning of a lifelong interest in building things with computers. Original era: 2004 |
